Creating new GIS data for the entirety of Cook County, derived from topography, was an intensive multi-step process that required a lot of thought and trouble-shooting to get the processes to run successfully to completion and produce the expected data. Their creative ideas and commitment to the effort resulted in successful completion of the huge task. They also created web-based documentation, including a detailed storymap and a print tool, and were great to work with as they developed, tested, and refined the product and the results. They kept lines of communication open throughout the project and were very responsive to comments and feedback. It was a great working relationship and Urban GIS was an integral part of our team.
