Highlighting Impact and Increasing Donor Engagement

On this project, Urban GIS, Inc. partnered with By the Hand Club, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower children from under-resourced Chicago neighborhoods to achieve an abundant life.  In support of their mission, our team developed an ArcGIS Story Map that highlights the organization’s profile, showcases the need for their services, and documents the impact of their programs on the youth that they serve.

This Story Map is a powerful tool by which the organization can communicate critical information to current and potential donors.  Embedded web maps demonstrate indicators such as housing and food insecurity, school absenteeism, community violence, and poverty among children.  With ArcGIS mapping technology, Urban GIS, Inc. created a visually engaging platform that provides a dynamic and interactive representation of the organization’s efforts.
